The profession of interior design is new
compared to occupations such as law and medicine but equally important. It is a
profession of ethics, education and skill. It’s more than making a space “look
good”; it’s understanding all that is required for function, balance and
aesthetics.
Interior design is putting the pieces of a
puzzle together after you find the pieces. It’s identifying a problem and
solving it. It’s developing an understanding of space, both positive and
negative, and giving it direction. It’s looking beyond the four walls of a room
to discover what could be. It’s creating for the masses, and the few, spaces
that are safe and secure. It’s concept becoming reality.
It’s motion.
It’s rhythm.
It’s growth.
It’s purpose.
It’s…
life.
